BRAZIL – The 17th International Suppliers Fair for the Wood and Furniture Production Chain (Fimma Brasil) confirmed the importance of in-person trade shows for the sector.
Held from August 4–7 in Bento Gonçalves (RS), the event featured over 300 national and international brands, doubled in size compared to the previous edition, and attracted 20,750 visitors from across Brazil and 31 countries.
With USD 1.74 billion in projected business, the fair strengthened its position as one of the leading global meeting points for manufacturers, suppliers, and importers of machinery, raw materials, tools, and services.
Beyond the exhibition floor, Fimma 2025 hosted nearly 270 national business rounds in partnership with Sebrae RS, international buyer missions, and an Innovation Square with startups, robotics, software demonstrations, and keynote sessions.
Movergs president Euclides Longhi praised the outcome, noting that this year’s fair delivered “a more complete event, with new segments, more brands, and greater innovation.” The 18th Fimma Brasil is scheduled to take place from August 9–12, 2027.
