DENMARK –  BoConcept, one of the world’s leading furniture and lifestyle brands, has reported a solid performance in its 2024/2025 financial year, despite a difficult global market marked by uncertainty and shifting consumer behavior.

According to its newly published annual report, revenue declined slightly by 2% year-over-year to DKK 1,247 million (EUR 167 million), while EBITDA reached DKK 172 million (EUR 23 million), corresponding to a strong margin of 13.8%. Gross profit and cost levels remained stable, reflecting effective cost management amid inflationary pressures

Growth was supported by strategic initiatives, including investments in store concepts, product development, and B2B activities. These efforts delivered notable results in Australia, Korea, and especially Japan, which posted exceptional growth and profitability.

“Despite a challenging global market, we delivered solid results,” said CEO Mikael Kruse Jensen. “Our strategic investments in concept and product development, as well as in high-potential markets, have had a significantly positive impact and laid a strong foundation for future growth.”

A key highlight of the year was the appointment of model and entrepreneur Helena Christensen as Global Artistic Director, strengthening BoConcept’s position as a premium global brand and opening a new creative era in design.

Looking ahead, BoConcept expects stable revenue in the new financial year, with improved operational efficiency and a lower cost base supporting a modest EBITDA increase. The company remains confident in its business model and sees significant opportunities in the B2B segment and strategic partnerships, despite ongoing geopolitical and economic uncertainties.
