BRAZIL –  Dexco, the largest wooden panel manufacturer in Latin America, reported a notable operational improvement in the second quarter of 2025 (2Q-2025), with strong gains in its Wood Division and EBITDA despite a sharp drop in net profit year-over-year.

From April to June, Dexco posted BRL 2,121.7 million in revenue, up 6.3% compared to 2Q-2024. Its Wood Division led the growth with a 16.1% increase, reaching BRL 1,432.5 million. EBITDA surged 17.6% to BRL 442.7 million, with the EBITDA margin expanding 2 percentage points to 20.9%. However, net profit declined sharply by 71.5%, totaling BRL 29.9 million.

For the first half of 2025, the company recorded BRL 4,024.2 million in revenue, a modest 2.4% increase, while EBITDA fell by 3.7% and the margin declined by 1.2 points. Despite this, net profit improved 11.6%, reaching BRL 113.4 million.

In shipped volume, total panel shipments in the first half stood at 1.47 million m³, down 2.4% year-on-year, mainly due to a 10.9% drop in laminated panels. Standard panels, on the other hand, rose 5.5%.
