GERMANY  –   Homag Group has broken ground on a new customer center and modern company restaurant at its Schopfloch headquarters, part of a EUR 40 million investment.

CEO Dr. Daniel Schmitt highlighted the site’s global importance, stating it will serve as a hub for showcasing solutions to customers worldwide.

The Homag Experience Center, spanning 4,500 m², will display over 25 machines, digital tools, and integrated systems. A dedicated brand zone and training areas will complete the visitor experience.

Employees will benefit from a 2,000 m² company restaurant with 500 seats, a garden café, and fresh meals made from regional ingredients. Both buildings will use sustainable timber construction and solar power, with completion expected by end-2026.

This project is part of Homag’s wider EUR 100 million site investment, which began in 2021 and includes expanded production, logistics, and office renovations to be finished by mid-2026.

The Homag Group is a global leader in integrated solutions for the woodworking industry. With 13 production sites, around 20 subsidiaries, and 60 exclusive sales partners worldwide, it stands out as a unique system provider.
