GERMANY – Spanish manufacturer Cantisa, specialized in edge banding for the furniture and interior design industries, took part in the latest edition of Interzum, the world’s leading trade fair for furniture components and materials.

The event, held in Cologne, also coincided with Cantisa’s 40th anniversary, making this participation especially meaningful.

The company’s booth drew interest from numerous international visitors, allowing Cantisa to strengthen existing partnerships and forge new commercial connections. Interzum served as a strategic platform to promote the company’s international growth and showcase its innovations.

Visitors experienced Cantisa’s extensive range of products, including matching edge bands for melamine boards from top brands, wood veneer edges, decorative edging for design projects, and self-adhesive screw covers.

Among the innovations that stood out were a wood veneer edge with a plastic backing, a real cork edge, and a flexible, waterproof wood veneer—a unique product treated with a special surface finish that eliminates the need for traditional varnish.

As part of its internationalization strategy, Cantisa announced its upcoming participation in Tecno Mueble Internacional, to be held in Guadalajara, Mexico, from August 13 to 16, 2025. The fair represents a key opportunity to expand Cantisa’s presence in Latin America, a region identified as a priority market in the company’s global growth plans.

“We are committed to bringing innovation and quality solutions to international markets. LATAM, in particular, holds great potential for our product line,” the company said in a statement.

Cantisa will present its edge banding products at booth 3019A in Guadalajara, reaffirming its dedication to growth, innovation, and international expansion.
