GERMANY –  B. Maier Zerkleinerungstechnik GmbH, a long-standing name in wood processing technology, is now operating under the new name Dieffenbacher Bielefeld GmbH.

The change reflects a deeper integration with the Dieffenbacher Group, which has owned the Bielefeld-based company since 2009.

“Our company name is changing, but the Maier brand—with its 90-year legacy of efficiency, reliability, and quality—will continue to represent our products,” said Alexander Hoffmann, Managing Director of Dieffenbacher Bielefeld. “Our team remains the same, and customers can continue contacting us through the same channels,” he added.

Dieffenbacher Bielefeld will continue to design and supply Maier machines and full system solutions for wood yards, wood size-reduction, and material preparation. These solutions are widely used in particleboard, MDF, OSB, and biomass plants, as well as in pellet and WPC/WFC production.

Christian Dieffenbacher, CEO of Dieffenbacher Group, noted that the renaming marks the successful internal alignment of the group’s subsidiaries. “In recent years, we have steadily advanced our integration strategy under the motto MOVE FORWARD. TOGETHER., and this renaming is a tangible result of that effort,” he said.
