BRAZIL – Eucatex, one of the largest producers of flooring, partitions, doors, MDP and MDF panels, wood fiber boards and paints and varnishes in Brazil, delivered a strong financial performance in the first quarter of 2025, with net sales reaching BRL 744.7 million, marking a 16.2% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The standout contributor was exports, which surged by 58.7% to BRL 215.1 million.
The Furniture Industry and Resale segment grew 11.4% year-over-year to BRL 267.6 million, while the Construction division posted a 3.7% rise, totaling BRL 251.8 million.
EBITDA climbed 31.9% to BRL 181.3 million, raising the EBITDA margin to 24.3%, up from 21.5% in Q1 2024. Net profit jumped 69.1% to BRL 100.8 million, reflecting improved operational efficiency and export performance.
The results underscore Eucatex’s strengthened position in both domestic and international markets as it continues to gain momentum.
