CHILE – In the second edition of the 2024 Corporate Sustainability Ranking, organized by Brinca and the Adolfo Ibáñez School of Business, Masisa secured the top position in the manufacturing category for sustainability.

This ranking, which assessed 70 leading companies in strategic sectors of the country, reflects the progress and achievements in sustainable business practices.

This recognition highlights Masisa’s commitment and leadership in implementing sustainable practices. Over the past three years, the company has undertaken key initiatives, including energy efficiency programs and CO2 emission reduction. Additionally, Masisa promotes circular economy projects and participated in the 2023 project “Fortified Biocompost for Biological Control in Agriculture,” which involves local communities in waste management and the production of biocompost for agriculture.

This recognition is a tribute to the efforts of our entire team and encourages us to keep improving our practices to contribute to a more sustainable future,” commented Alejandro Carrillo, Corporate General Manager of Masisa.

The ranking, based on integrated reports submitted to the Financial Market Commission, uses 38 key indicators related to Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) aspects.

With this distinction, Masisa strengthens its commitment to sustainability and its mission to lead in this area by developing innovative solutions that have a positive environmental, social, and economic impact.
