ITALY – Biesse Group has reported its financial results for the period from January to June 2024 (6M-2024).

Sales reached EUR 395.7 million, representing a decrease of 5.4% compared to EUR 418.2 million for the same period in 2023. EBITDA also declined, down 30% to EUR 32.9 million, while net profit dropped by 79.9%, recording EUR 3.9 million.

Looking at regional performance, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa experienced a significant sales decline of 14.9%, totaling EUR 252.6 million (6M-2023: EUR 296.7). In contrast, the Americas and Asia-Pacific regions showed positive growth, with increases of 12% and 28.8%, respectively. Reaching EUR 88.8 million and EUR 54.3 million.

The global context in which the Biesse Group currently operates remains characterized by significant political and economic uncertainties stemming from the evolving international geopolitical landscape. These uncertainties will inevitably impact the Group’s performance. Specifically, the slowdown in orders observed during 2023 and the first half of 2024, along with the financial challenges posed by high interest rates that Biesse Group customers will continue to face, will influence sales trends for the remainder of the year.
