GERMANY – In the first half of 2024, Surteco Group’s, sales increased by 4% to EUR 447.6 million, up from EUR 428.8 million last year, despite challenging conditions.

This growth was driven by the full consolidation of Omnova divisions and improvements from the Performance Plus programme, which boosted adjusted EBITDA by 26% to EUR 57.0 million. The reported EBITDA, excluding transaction and integration costs, rose by 60% to EUR 56.4 million. Consolidated net profit reached EUR 13.8 million, a turnaround from last year’s EUR 4.0 million loss.

Surteco affirms its 2024 outlook, projecting sales between EUR 860 million and EUR 910 million and adjusted EBITDA between EUR 85 million and EUR 105 million. Wolfgang Moyses, Chairman of the Management Board, stated that consistent cost discipline and Performance Plus measures are on track to meet annual targets despite the tough market conditions.
