New materials to be showcased at Maderalia Selection Technical sessions

SPAIN – Maderalia Selection, the new hall of materials, finishes and technology that will be held on 10 to 12 February at Feria Valencia will host the first edition of its Technical Conference; a professional symposium for visitors and professionals of interior design, architecture and design on the occasion of the celebration of the event ‘See You in Valencia’, which covers the joint celebration of Maderalia Selection, Cevisama and Habitat.

Fimar 2015The Technical Conferences will be held in two morning sessions scheduled on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 February and address issues of interest to complement the present commercial offer in Maderalia Selection. In this sense, with the support of the AIDIMA Technological Institute, Technical Conferences will be offered focussed on two main areas: new materials and their applications and innovation in construction, architecture and interior design.

At the opening session, the Technical Conference will take a deep look at innovative materials that are currently being developed in the market and provide intelligent proposals for habitat and people. These are materials that are capable of reacting to external stimuli and are friendly and the environment. These include lightweight boards, laminated wood, nanotechnology applications, smart coatings, composites and technological applications.

By the second day, the symposium will fully engage those tangential aspects that are driving innovation in construction. The different sessions will address issues such as energy efficiency, ventilated facades, evolution of rehabilitation, home automation applications, wooden joints and assemblies, wooden windows and innovation in building, raised floors and safety criteria on construction elements and applications, flame retardants, sound absorption and indoor air quality.

For the development of these sessions, the team of AIDIMA and Feria Valencia is counting on the participation of leading industry professionals and representatives of the most innovative organizations and firms. The Technical Conference will be structured with short presentations of no more than fifteen minutes to encourage greater interaction between speakers and attendees to the conferences.
