Siempelkamp receives € 67 million order from Brazil’s Asperbras

GERMANY – The German plant manufacturer Siempelkamp closed a successful 2014 business year. The largest order from the region was from new customer Asperbras for a complete MDF plant in its Água Clara, Brazil location.

Asperbras Asperbras The scope of supply for this € 67 million order will include all components for the high-end MDF line ranging from the engineering to the steel structure to the complete fiber preparation system and the forming and press line including a 9’ x 27.1 m ContiRoll® press to the finishing line. Additionally, Asperbras will be supplied with an energy plant, a short-cycle press line as well as an evaporation facility for the water treatment.

In total, twelve well-known customers placed orders in 2014 with the machine building company from Krefeld, two more than in 2013.

The current order backlog promises capacity utilization of Siempelkamp’s production facilities into the first quarter of 2016.
