COLOMBIA -Tablemac, the Colombian wood panel manufacturer, reported consolidated net sales for the 1Q-2014 of COP 53,821 million, 11.9% higher than in the second quarter of 2013.
Volumes showed an increase of 12.1% compared to the same period in 2013.
Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was COP 9,811 million, representing an increase of 7.4% compared to COP 9,137 million in the same period 2013. Increases in the cost of the main raw materials for the production of resins and an increase in freight rates impacted the growth dynamics of this indicator. Consolidated net income for the quarter was COP 3,925 million, up 527.5% on the result obtained in the same period of 2013 (- COP 918 million).
The consolidated CAPEX executed by the end of June amounted to the sum of COP 4,212 million, highlighting: machinery and equipment for COP 2,501 and forestry investments for COP 1,035.
