SWEDEN – Marbodal has won the Kitchen of the Year 2013 competition with its latest kitchen range Arkitekt Plus (PLUS series).

The competition was organised by bathrooms and kitchens magazine Bad &Kökguiden. The Kitchen of the Year was chosen by a selection panel together with thousands of private individuals.

“The design of the PLUS series is inspired by history, by custom-built kitchens where doors and drawers sit level with the framework and everything holds together as a single entity. It’s like a beautiful piece of furniture”, says Axel Karlsson, Marketing Director at Marbodal, adding: “In only a short space of time, our new PLUS series has become incredibly popular with our customers. Marbodal will be 90 years old in 2014, so this award is a perfect start to our anniversary year.”

The winning kitchen was designed by Catarina Thollström, kitchen designer at Nobia.
