COLOMBIA (Notifix.) – Although the value of Colombian RTA exports during the January – July period showed no growth compared to the year before, this period was characterized by a shift in the importance of the destination countries.

In contrast, shipments to Venezuela fell 62.5% to USD 465 k, compared with USD 1.24 million in the same period of 2012. Due in large part to the difficulties encountered by Venezuelan importers to undertake foreign trade operations.
Although decreasing its share in total exports, Peru continued as the main market for Colombian RTA furniture with imports of USD 1.78 million, followed by Mexico, Chile and Ecuador.
