PERU (Notifix).- Peru’s imports of neighboring Colombian RTA furniture reached USD 801.285 in 1Q-2013. Maintaining its leading position as Colombia’s main RTA furniture destination.

 Closely followed by Chile, with imports of USD 749.023 and Mexico with USD 701.803, both of which increased their purchases at a much faster rate than Peru when compared to 1Q-2012 figures.

Regarding Colombian manufacturers, Moduart continued to be the main exporting company in the 1Q-2013 with 48% of total shipments worth USD 1.612.973, followed by RTA Design, the fastest growing exporter, increasing its shipments by 98% to USD 926.921 in the period for a 28% share of exports.
