ATLANTA (WWN).- At IWF, IMA announced the first North American installation of its laser edgebander will be at Schenk Architectural Imports Ltd., a cabinet component manufacturer

based in Calgary, AB. The system is set to be in place by December. Schenk said the decision to install a laser edgebander was a two-year process during which the company traveled to Europe and set up partnerships with the various vendors. With the IMA laser edgebander the company will use tape from Doellken and Rehau, and tooling from Leitz.
