USA (Notifix).- According to Euwid the US office furniture producer Steelcase is planning to invest roughly €40 million in the planned conversion of its production

sites to laser edging technology over the next three years. Around EUR15m of this sum is to be accounted for by the German locations in Rosenheim and Durlangen, which do business as Steelcase Werndl and act as pilot sites for the project. In a first step, two machining centres with Laser Edging aggregates supplied by IMA Klessmann as well as four throughfeed machines including laserTec units ordered from Homag are to be installed at the sites by the autumn.
