Unicasa IPO could reach BRR 731.6 million

BRAZIL (CGI Moveis).- Furniture manufacturer Unicasa announced the terms of its initial public offering which will mark the first entry of a company in the furniture sector

in the stock market of Brazil. The operation could handle up to BRR 731.6 million, according to the terms of the prospectus. Unicasa is the owner of furniture brands Dell Anno, Favorita, New and Telasul, dedicated respectively to the classes A, B, C and D. The price range for the shares was set between BRR 16.50 and BRR 20.50 per share, which gives a maximum value for the initial IPO of BRR 541.9 million, considering the top estimate for the share price. If there is demand, additional lots will be offered bringing the IPO to BRR 731.6 million, also considering the price of 20.50 dollars per share. Unicasa, with headquarters in Bento Gonçalves (RS), was established in 1985 and presents itself as the leader in customized furniture in Brazil. The company has about 880 outlets. It exports its products to Paraguay, Uruguay, Angola, Costa Rica, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, UAE and the Dominican Republic.
