INDONESIA (Notifix).- Inter Ikea Systems, an affiliate of the Swedish furniture giant, signed a franchise deal with Indonesian Hero Supermarket, one of the country’s largest

retailers. The agreement will allow Hero to open, from 2014 to 2021, Ikea stores across the archipelago, with the option to extend the partnership and expand the number of outlets after the franchising agreement expires. Indonesia is the fourth Southeast Asian nation to host an Ikea store, after Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.
