USA – Omnova Films and Laminates will rebrand as Surteco effective August 1, 2024, following Surteco’s acquisition of Omnova in 2023. This change marks a strategic shift towards operational consolidation and a unified brand identity.

“We are prepared for this new chapter and believe it will be an investment enabling us to provide customer-centric solutions with the same reliability and excellence Omnova was known for, now bolstered by the global backing of the Surteco name,” stated Surteco North America CEO Terry Hemmelgarn.

The rebranding aims to streamline customer interaction by offering all products through one representative across all lines. Surteco, a leader in decor print, foil, adhesives, and edgebanding manufacturing, operates seven facilities across North America.

The company has achieved significant milestones as a unified entity, including the launch of the innovative Sphera Super Matte Collection of decorative surfaces. Moreover, Surteco has announced a substantial investment in a new rotogravure printing press in Monroe, North Carolina, enhancing both efficiency and capacity for delivering high-quality, customized solutions.

Looking ahead, Surteco anticipates launching a dedicated website for North America with enhanced sales resources and tools. Additionally, the company will participate in the International Woodworker’s Fair from August 6-9 in Atlanta, Georgia.
