GERMANY – Following Schattdecor’s recent announcement of Roland Auer’s resignation from his position due to personal reasons effective July 15, 2024, the CEO bid farewell to employees in an emotional letter.

After more than 30 years with the company, Auer expressed gratitude for the fulfilling and successful time spent together, acknowledging both achievements and challenges faced during his tenure.

The Supervisory Board and the Schatt family acknowledged Auer’s significant contributions to the company’s growth and internationalization over the decades, particularly highlighting his role in Schattdecor Poland and as CEO since 2017. They thanked him for his dedication and assured support for his decision.

Internally, Schattdecor has implemented measures to ensure a smooth transition, appointing Dr. Derick Beitel as the new Spokesman of the Executive Board, Claudia Küchen to oversee Human Resources, and appointing Robert Vuga as the Chief Sales Officer.

Reiner Schulz, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Anja Schatt-Steiner, representing the Schatt family, emphasized their commitment to maintaining operational continuity and reliable partnerships with customers, suppliers, and partners.
