ITALY – SCM showcased its technological and digital innovations in a completely new and multimedia fashion at Xylexpo 2024, focusing on clients’ new production and business needs in terms of services, digitalization, and sustainability.
Visitors experienced a unique presentation, discovering a wide range of innovations without the presence of machines at the stand, a decision that aligns with the group’s focus on sustainability and environmental impact.
Pietro Gheller, Director of SCM’s Wood Division, emphasized the group’s ability to maintain continuous and shared relationships with clients, supporting their needs throughout the machine’s lifecycle and beyond, thanks to a high-value ecosystem of software, services, and expertise.
At Xylexpo, SCM’s stand featured an operational Digital Control Room that embodies the group’s values, including the Maestro connect IoT system for proactive service and environmental sustainability through energy monitoring functions. SCM demonstrated new automated and integrated solutions for the entire woodworking sector, from furniture and kitchens to surface treatment and timber construction.
Live connections with SCM’s Technology Centers in Italy showcased new flexible industrial cells and integrated finishing solutions. The inauguration of the new ScmSuperfici Technology Center in Villasanta provided tangible demonstrations of products and services that complete the production processes for furniture, doors, windows, and more.
