BOGOTA – Set to transform the future, the upcoming edition of interzum bogota will be held at Corferias from May 14 to 17. This pivotal event for the wood transformation and furniture manufacturing sectors will unite state-of-the-art solutions and the latest industry trends under one roof.
Jointly organized by Koelnmesse and Corferias, interzum Bogota marks its fifteenth edition, solidifying its status within the Interzum global network, which hosts events in Cologne (Germany), Bergamo (Italy), and Guangzhou (China).
The fair is distinguished by partnerships with key industry stakeholders such as the WWF, an independent global organization committed to environmental conservation. It also enjoys support from the National Federation of Wood Industries, Fedemaderas, representing Colombia’s forestry, wood, and furniture sectors. Prominently, Saving The Amazon, an NGO dedicated to Amazonian conservation through reforestation with indigenous communities, will play an essential role.
Fedemaderas and WWF Colombia will reinforce the country’s dedication to a legal and sustainable wood market, aligning with the Intersectoral Pact for Legal Wood in Colombia (PIMLC) scheduled through 2030. This initiative is designed to bolster the legal wood trade and encourage the sustainable use of forests among other critical measures.
Supported by these key partners, interzum Bogota’s biennial edition will feature 220 exhibitors. They will present a broad array of products, services, and activities tailored for attendees, aligned with the event’s core themes of circular economy, sustainability, innovation, technology, and design. This collaborative effort promises a comprehensive and rewarding experience for all participants.
