PERU – Falabella has launched a comprehensive transformation plan for its Maestro Stores in Peru, as revealed in its 2023 Annual Report.
The plan aims to revamp and redefine the stores’ identity, transitioning them to operate under the Sodimac brand.
This strategic move marks a new phase for the retail chain, aiming to strengthen the brand’s presence and expand its regional footprint, including new store openings in Mexico.
The transformation began in Arequipa in 2022 and has extended to Cusco and Chiclayo this year, involving not just a facelift of the storefronts but also an enhancement of the product and service offerings. The rebranding from Maestro to Sodimac will continue until it is fully implemented across all locations in Peru.
Falabella is largest home improvement retailer in Latin America, with presence in seven countries: Chile, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay.
