USA – Roseburg Forest Products recently announced Nadine Orozco’s promotion to Director of Strategic Business Development, effective March 18, 2024.
Orozco has served as the manager of strategic business development since January 1, 2022, contributing significantly to key company projects, including the recent sale of Roseburg’s Simsboro, La., particleboard plant to Kronospan and the company’s historic USD 700 million investment in Oregon manufacturing.
“Nadine has shown remarkable leadership growth at Roseburg, demonstrating a profound understanding of our business, culture, and goals,” said Eric Geyer, Roseburg’s Vice President of Corporate Strategy and External Affairs. “Her expertise and strategic acumen make her an excellent fit for this new role. I look forward to her continued growth and expanded responsibilities.”
As Director of Strategic Business Development, Orozco will lead the implementation of Roseburg’s strategic initiatives to drive company growth, diversification, and profitability. Collaborating with internal and external teams, she will oversee projects, including acquisitions and partnerships, providing strategic insights to the executive team and Board of Directors.
Nadine Orozco joined Roseburg in October 2012 after completing her master’s degree in Wood Science and Engineering from Oregon State University. She holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration and Management from Northland College. Throughout her tenure, Orozco has held progressively senior roles within manufacturing operations, sales and marketing, sustainability, corporate compliance, and business development.
