GERMANY – Jowat is venturing into China’s adhesive market with the opening of a new factory.

Located near Shanghai, this facility will produce tailor-made adhesives for the Asian market, starting in the second quarter of 2024.

The new plant, spanning 11,000 square meters, will focus on water-based adhesives and special solutions for electronics.

Dr. Ralf Schelbach, Vice President of Jowat SE, is excited about this move, saying it allows them to offer innovative adhesives locally to meet customer needs quickly.

This new factory strengthens Jowat’s position in Asia and emphasizes its commitment to innovation in the industry.
