BRAZIL – Fimma Brasil and Movelsul Brasil, held jointly from August 28 to 31 at the Bento Gonçalves Event Park in Rio Grande do Sul, delivered on their promise to revitalize the furniture sector.
With 500 exhibiting brands across 58,000 square meters, the trade fairs welcomed 30,835 visitors from all Brazilian states and 46 countries, resulting in a projected BRL 2 billion in business.
This figure encompasses transactions conducted during the event (at exhibitors’ booths and in national and international business meetings) as well as those agreements set to materialize over the next 12 months.
“Fimma is the result of a collective effort dedicated to the benefit of the national furniture sector. It is incredibly rewarding to conclude yet another edition with the trust of both Brazilian and foreign exhibitors and the satisfaction of our visitors. This credibility places the fair on par with international events, bringing together the finest in high technology for furniture production,” says Euclides Longhi, President of the Furniture Industries Association of the State of Rio Grande do Sul (Movergs).
