BRAZIL – Berneck, the Brazilian board manufacturer, announced new investments in its plant in Curitibanos, state of Santa Catarina, Brazil, with which the company consolidates the third stage of its investment plan in this industrial complex.

The project includes a new continuous manufacturing line for the MDP. The line has a capacity of 800 thousand cubic meters per year, and start-up is expected between the months of June / July 2015.

Also Berneck announced the investment in a new low pressure lamination (LP) line, the third of the company, with a capacity of 15,000 m3 per month, which is expected to start operations in May 2015. This line will be destined for MDF and MDP lamination.

In this regard the company stated: “This investment reinforces our commitment of good service for the furniture industry in Brazil, with a product of exceptional technological quality and in the volumes required for each company.”
