USA – Cabinetworks Group, the second-largest kitchen cabinet manufacturer in the U.S., is moving its headquarters from Ann Arbor to Livonia: It plans to hire 110 employees for a USD 14.2 million expansion in Michigan.
Ranked 10th among top North American wood products companies on the FDMC300 list, Cabinetworks aims to centralize its corporate functions, enhance customer service, and attract talent.
The facility is being renovated to create a modern headquarters fostering collaboration among its more than 8,000 nationwide employees.
“We’re thrilled about our future in Michigan and establishing roots in Livonia. We’re ready to grow here,” stated John Barkhouse, Cabinetworks CEO.
The project, supported by the Michigan Business Development Program, brings a USD 600,000 performance-based award. The Detroit Regional Partnership assists with marketing and talent recruitment. Governor Whitmer praised the investment, emphasizing job creation and Michigan’s economic growth.
