ITALY – 2022 closed positively for italian woodworking technology.
This is the result based on the export figures, despite many negative factors related to market complexities, geopolitical crises, soaring energy and raw material prices in 2022.
According to the figures published by ISTAT, the industry exported woodworking machinery and plants (tools not included) for a total value of EUR 1,645 million, up by 3.9 percent from 2021, with an accelerated trend compared to the previous quarters.
The United States tops the ranking of Italian woodworking technology buyers, with EUR 220 million euro and a 34.6% increase, followed by France with EUR 155 million (+28.9%), Germany with EUR 129 million (+16.1%), The United Kingdom with EUR 106.3 million (+30.7%) and Poland with EUR EUR 80million (-28.1%).
