GERMANY – Holz-Handwerk the European trade fair for machine technology, equipment and supplies for the secondary wood processing segment returns after four years for its 20th anniversary edition from 12-15th July 2022 at Exhibition Centre Nuremberg.
Holz-Handwerk in Nuremberg, the European Trade Fair for Machine Technology, Equipment and Supplies for the Wood Craft, focuses on processing and working wood. Here you find the latest trends and innovations for the woodworking & wood processing sector – from sawing and grinding machines to woodworking machines or extraction systems. This makes Holz-Handwerk one of the most important events for carpenters and joiners in the European region.
Holz-Handwerk took place in Nuremberg in combination with Fensterbau Frontale for the first time in 1992, initially as an annual event and subsequently every two years.
“Since then, Holz-Handwerk has become the must-do event for carpenters, joiners and cabinetmakers from all over Europe,” says Stefan Dittrich, director of Holz-Handwerk, commenting on the importance of the exhibition.
The trade fair pairing of Holz-Hanwerk and Fensterbau-Frontale impressively cemented its leading position in 2018 with over 110.000 trade visitors from 123 countries (2016: 116) and 1.329 exhibitors (2016: 1.288) from 42 countries (2016: 40) achieving a new record in numbers for visitors and countries of origin.
