GERMANY – Altendorf‘s safety assistance system “Hand Guard” was recognized with the “GS” seal by the German association for the trade in wood and metal (Bghm) which recognizes the high standards safety standard.

This technology from Altendorf is among the first safety assistance systems in the world for circular table saws to receive the GS seal for tested safety.

Hand Guard is the first and only optical system protects people, machines and material. It is a unique early detection system with 2 cameras.

“As a developer of premium sliding table saws, for us it was especially important to conduct further research, to ultimately bring a safety system that would almost entirely prevent accidents to the market.
