ITALY – Biesse, Italian woodworking machinery manufacturer, reported results for the first nine months of 2013 reaching sales of EUR 268,5 million compared to EUR 272,1 million in the same period of 2012.

Noticeable improvements in EBITDA and net income were acomplished. EBITDA reached EUR 19,2 million an improvement of 57% compared to same period 2012 (EUR 12,2 million). Net income reached EUR 1,97 million compared to – 8,6 million in 2012. The improvements in the nine month results respond to a positive trend in the third quarter with an increase in sales of 10.3% reaching EUR 88,2 million (2012: 79,9 million).
