Koelnmesse cancels ZOW, will focus on Interzum

GERMANY – Interzum and ZOW show organizer Koelnmesse informed that it will put the ZOW show on hold for the time being and instead focus on Interzum as current conditions are not viable to support ZOW.

975ZOW The last two years, the majority of which have been shaped by the pandemic, have led to changes in society as a whole. The entire industry is undergoing a multidimensional change on its way to the New Normal. Accordingly, the development of ZOW and interzum as a whole is expected to focus on interzum as the world’s leading trade fair and, at the same time, as the central German platform.

As a result of this disruptive development triggered by the coronavirus pandemic, Koelnmesse has decided to cancel ZOW at the Bad Salzuflen location, which is scheduled for 3 to 5 May 2022, and to suspend subsequent events for the time being.

“Following this decision, we will now focus on Interzum, the leading international trade fair for suppliers to the furniture industry. Koelnmesse is already considering potential new formats for the interim year between the editions of Interzum.” said Matthias Pollmann, vice president trade fair management at Koelnmesse.

Koelnmesse is strategically expanding its portfolio with international trade fairs in key growth markets around the globe, including Interzum Bogotá in Colombia and Interzum Guangzhou in China. The next Interzum fair is on May 9-12, 2023
