BRAZIL – The Brazilian Furniture Project’s schedule in the United States this year also included North Carolina, taking 15 Brazilian companies to High Point Market, one of the largest fairs in the world furniture calendar, which took place from October 16 to 20, 2021.
The project is an initiative headed by ABIMÓVEL – Brazilian Association of Furniture Industries and Apex-Brasil – Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency.
Among the Brazilian brands associated with Brazilian Furniture, 11 exhibited at the event and four participated in business rounds in a hybrid format, enabling, in general, contact with 124 international buyers, mainly from the United States, Mexico, Canada, Colombia, and Peru.
This generated more than USD 85,000 in immediate business deals and about USD 4.9 million already prospected for the next 12 months. Totaling approximately USD 5.08 million in business from the fair.
Artesano Móveis, Canaã Móveis Infantis, Irimar Móveis, Metaltru, Notável Móveis, Officina Móveis, Poquema Móveis e Sheldon Móveis were among the participating companies.
The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 75,000 people to High Point, North Carolina, every six months.
