ITALY – The fifth edition of the international exhibition of components, semi-finished products and accessories for the furniture industry, SICAM, took place from October 15-18 in Pordenone, Italy. 

The show received 16.000 visitors from 94 countries confirming the international acceptance of the show.

The organizer of the event, Carlo Giobbi, declared: ‘’SICAM affirmed its importance in the international markets, especially regards to the emerging countries to which we pay every year a close attention.’’

With the 35% of the presences from abroad, SICAM still confirms to be the most excellent event for the Italian furniture industry: ‘’From a brief glace at the registration files and from what exhibitors had to say – continued Mr. Giobbi- we can affirm that all the most important companies, visited the exhibition in these opening days. No doubt, SICAM is the fundamental event to monitor and control the national market, which remains one of the most important of the furnishing branch.”

In 2014 the sixth edition of SICAM will take place from October 14-17 at the Pordenone Fairground.
