With this in mind, Sonae Arauco inaugurated a Distribution Centre (DC) for the NEE region on the 1st of June to provide its customers with the best possible service. “With the Distribution Centre and the associated new service levels, we can meet the demanding needs of our retail customers efficiently and cost-effectively”, adds Gerrit George, NEE Transportation Manager and the DC’s Project Manager.

Innovus dealers in particular will benefit from our new service offer. Shorter delivery times and greater flexibility offer improved planning reliability for our customers.

This has been made possible by restructuring the logistics processes and, last but not least, the new Sonae Arauco Distribution Centre: “Situated between Dortmund and Kassel, the central location of the Distribution Centre presents an enormous advantage in being able to act quickly throughout the country. Last but not least, the DC also provides a perspective for future markets,” explains Doris Buchmesser, Sonae Arauco Sales Director NEE.
