MÉXICO – One year after the opening of its Monterrey, Mexico factory, leather upholstery producer Kuka Home has completed a major expansion that will increase production by more than 45%.

The factory initiated on June 18, 2020 to continue the company’s mission to become a global leader in the upholstery industry. Around 650 employees work at the plant.

Kuka Home is currently investigating the possibility for further expansion in 2022.

In addition to its five facilities in China, the manufacturing footprint now includes this Monterrey plant, a vertically integrated mattress factory, also in Monterrey, and two new plants in Vietnam.

Kuka Home Group Co. Ltd. manufactures and distributes home furniture products. The Company produces sofa, soft bed, dining chair, mattress, and redwood furniture products. Kuka Home Group markets its products worldwide.
