TURKEY – Kastamonu Entegre celebrated the acceptance of its new Siempelkamp particleboard plant with Generation 9 ContiRoll at the Samsun location in Turkey.
Start of assembly in July 2020, completed dry run in January 2021, first board at the end of February – on May 1st, the so far most important milestone in the implementation of the project was reached.
Kastamonu Entegre started three-shift operation only 18 days after the first panel – one week earlier than scheduled. The nominal output for the main product was achieved shortly after the start of the three-shift operation; due to the excellent know-how of the customer’s team, it was already possible to operate with design parameters until acceptance.
In addition, the entire production range from 6 to 35 m boards was pre-run; the press line produces safely and reliably up to the design speed of 1,200 mm/s. A daily capacity of 2,000 m3 has already been reached.
Kastamonu Entegre was established in 1969 headquartered in Istanbul. The company operates is Forestry and wood products sector. The company produces particleboard, doorskins, skirtings, MDF, raw and melamined particle boards, laminate flooring, door panels and other related products needed for the furniture, decoration and construction sectors.
It has 8 production plants in Turkey and 5 abroad, located in Bulgaria, Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina and in Tatarstan and exports to 40 countries.
