ITALY – The report, Top 200 furniture manufacturers worldwide, aims at identifying the leading players operating in the furniture sector, selecting the top 200 global furniture manufacturing companies.
The Top 200 Furniture Manufacturers Worldwide Report provides an overview of the furniture competitive system, selecting and listing the top furniture companies by their revenues, products and geographical coverage.
The selected Top 200 furniture companies may operate in the following segments: kitchen furniture, upholstered furniture, office furniture, multiproduct furniture (e.g. dining/living room furniture, bedrooms, bathroom, outdoor furniture, etc.).
The Top 200 furniture manufacturers produce a total turnover of around USD 160 billion, of which, according to CSIL estimates, around USD 100 billion relates specifically to the furniture sector (representing 22% of world furniture production).
World furniture production has been growing since 2016. The same is true for the group of the Top 200 furniture manufacturers, which recorded a 16% growth in turnover in 2019 compared to 2015.
In 2020, according to CSIL preliminary estimates, world furniture production was worth about USD 422 billion, down more than USD 30 billion from 2019.
