BRAZIL – Duratex, the largest wooden panel manufacturer in the country, was elected by the InfoMoney portal as the best company in the stock exchange of the Basic Materials category in 2020.
The award “The best stock exchange companies” follows the methodology developed by Economatica and Ibmec and annually determines the outstanding companies listed on B3 according to their sectors.
The ranking adopts quantitative and qualitative criteria to analyze publicly traded companies. The quantitative analysis, carried out by Economatica, evaluated the profitability and performance of the companies’ shares.
For the analysis, the absolute return and the equalization of its performance in relation to the Ibovespa were considered. The objective was to reward companies that performed more consistently.
Traditionally held as an event, this year the recognition to the “The best stock exchange companies” in 2020 was in a virtual format.
Between the 24th and the 26th of November, the investment fund managers and executive directors of the selected companies participated in a conference cycle, mediated by the InfoMoney team, commenting on the current moment and the prospects for the future of the Brazilian economy.
