BRAZIL – In view of the scenario of great uncertainty regarding events and business in 2020, Sindmóveis Bento Gonçalves announced that the 22nd Movelsul Brasil, which would take place from September 14 – 17 at Parque de Eventos in Bento Gonçalves, has been postponed to 2022.

The management of Movelsul Brasil made this decision aware of their commitment to the furniture industry and its 43-year history furthering the interests of the sector, and above all, taking into account the well-being and health of all those involved in the event.

In addition to health issues, the organizers consider that the conditions are unfavorable to hold the fair in September and the determinations foreseen in the state and municipal protocols could impede the event without prior notice.

As such they are acting responsibly so as not to overburden exhibiting companies and contribute to the control of Covid-19.

As the situation faced is totally atypical and unexpected, the postponement of the fair is based on force majeure.

Movelsul understands the expectations of their different stakeholders, but emphasize that this is a time for collaboration, strengthening partnerships and solidarity and must be sensitive to the municipal, state, national and international scenarios.
