BRAZIL – Unicasa Indústria de Móveis S.A., one of Brazil’s leading manufactures of customized furniture and the only publicly held Brazilian company in the sector resumed on-site operations on April 13, 2020, following the asepsis guidelines of the Ministry of Health.

The Company operates through five brands: Dell Anno, Favorita, New, Casa Brasileira and Unicasa Corporate, distributed through 185 exclusive stores in Brazil and 17 other countries. Its plant, situated on an area of around 50,000 m² in the city of Bento Gonçalves in Rio Grande do Sul, has annual production capacity of 2.2 million modules.

Employees in the risk group and parents of children whose classes have been suspended will stay away from work, either in the form of vacation or under the Emergency Employment and Income Maintenance Program. Those activities will constantly observe the guidelines set by government authorities and may be suspended again as a result of them.

All activities of the Company that can be executed through the home office model will continue to be done remotely.
