Leuco introduces grooving cutter for CNC machines

GERMANY – Leuco offers the first groove with 8.5 mm cutting width for CNC machines. Until now, this width was often only achieved with a 5 mm groove in two work steps. Leuco’s innovation now makes grooving faster and the tool life is also doubled.

873LEUCO The secret of the new nut is the Leuco g5 system. Leuco already offers this for many different applications and machines. Leuco is now using this toothing on a 8.5 mm wide nut. The special tooth geometry and arrangement reduce the cutting pressure and thus the required driving force of the motor. This means that the nut can be used with motors that are designed to drive 4- and 5-mm nuts.

Thanks to the smooth-running G5 toothing from Leuco , even smaller CNC machines can now produce 8.5 mm wide grooves in one pass. With the new g5 saw blade, wide grooves can be produced much faster. At the same time, the tool life is almost doubled because the saw blade only carries out one instead of two operations.

Another advantage of the new grooving cutter from Leuco is its high cutting quality. Whether solid wood, plastic or lacquered surface: the group profile, which is made up of five teeth, saws wood with the best quality, even with hard or sensitive coatings. Perfect for grooves in cupboard showcases or chest of drawers for manufacturers of high quality furniture and furniture parts.

In addition, like all saw blades of the g5 system, the new groove only develops a low noise level. This improves the working environment in the processing plant. This makes the new saw blade the favorite for the production of wide grooves on CNC machines.
