GERMANY – With its two latest product innovations, Smartfoil Nature and Smartflex Nature, Schattdecor has succeeded in developing a surface that is barely distinguishable visually from solid wood or veneer.

The extreme naturalness is based on the interplay between the printed image and the decor-synchronous matte-gloss finished structure. With it both a practical and smart feature is achieved: the anti-fingerprint effect. All in all, Schattdecor is creating modern surfaces for all living spaces, thanks to these two new products.

The version called Smartflex Nature has a surface with real wood character, which also scores highly thanks to its flexibility. Instead of on paper, the printing is done on thermoplastic. The trick is in the material: the extreme elasticity allows it to be applied over any edging. Smartflex Nature is ideally suited for furniture applications in the kitchen or bathroom thanks to its base material, and thus sets other milestones in daily life – moisture-resistant, low-maintenance and non-toxic.

The inspiration for the development of Evoke Oak sprang from the current trend for black, which is so much in demand in the furnishing sector. Whether in the form of applications, accessories or dark, black-colored accents in decorative surfaces. Black is back.

The Evoke Oak furniture decor combines the typical must-haves of an oak decor. Characteristics for the development are darkened details and intensely colored areas. In combination with the natural oak base color, a homogeneous decor has been created that, for example, can be combined with black fittings or other accessories.
