GERMANY – With sales of 616 million euros, Häcker Küchen achieved a growth of 2.3 percent in the 2019 financial year (2018: 602 million euros). This excellent result reflects the continuation of the positive trend the recent years.
For Häcker the solid growth is very encouraging in a highly competitive market. The export share was 39 percent and will continue to be a strategic focus in the future.
The success at Häcker Küchen is generated by a workforce of currently 1,761 qualified and motivated employees (2018: 1,738). To secure future growth, Häcker Küchen is investing in a new additional plant at the Venne site in the Osnabrück region. Here, on a total area of around 212,000 square meters and with 450 new jobs, one of the most modern production sites for kitchens in the world is being built. The new plant will be in operation in September 2020 when the in-house exhibition is hosted and will produce the systemat & systematART collections.
“The new building in Venne gives us the opportunity to set up state-of-the-art production flows based on digitized processes. A high level of automation will set standards in terms of process quality and productivity”, says Dirk Krupka, Managing Director of Technology at Häcker Küchen.
