GERMANY (Notifix).- In an exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters, Homag will showcase 50 innovative machines and lines for the transformation of wood.

The main focus of this year in the Homag Treff is “PowerTouch”, a new concept for the operation and control of machines, developed by the Homag Group. The in-house fair will take place from September 24 to 27 in Schopfloch, Germany, at the company’s headquarters and will receive clients and prospect clients from around the globe.

The increasing popularity of furniture produced to a high standard of processing quality and minus any visible joints continues unabated. Leading office, bathroom furniture and fitted kitchen manufacturers are turning increasingly to the laserTec method developed by Homag. At this year’s Treff,  Homag will be unveiling its own internally developed airTec-System for edge processing using hot air with feed rates of up to 20m/min. This allows medium-sized producers to reap the benefits of zero joint technology with an ideal entry-level solution package. This unit is designed for permanent use without compromising the pull-off strength of edges or heating up the machine environment. In concrete terms: It eliminates the familiar drawbacks of hot air technology used to create an optical zero joint.
