Greenlam expands HPL capacity at Nalagarh plant

INDIA – Greenlam Industries Ltd, one of the largest global manufacturers of High Pressure Laminates (HPL), recently announced a capacity expansion at its Nalagarh, India plant.

854GREENLAM The expanded capacity is now operational, and the facility will be manufacturing an additional 1.6 million laminate sheets per annum. Greenlam is also a provider of other decorative surfacing solutions like decorative veneers, doors, and wooden flooring and has two state-of-the-art manufacturing plants in the country.

Speaking about the expansion, the company’s managing director and CEO Saurabh Mittal commented, “We have always endeavoured to give our customers the best of services which are in line with our vision and mission. With this expansion, we are delighted to announce that our manufacturing unit in Nalagarh is now entirely operational to produce an additional 11.4%. This would take the manufacturing capacity for laminates to 15.62 million laminate sheets per annum.”

Mittal added, “The expansion will strengthen Greenlam’s position in the HPL and compact panels market by offering an expanded product line to customers.”

Greenlam is among the world’s top 3 and Asia’s largest laminate producer with the manufacturing capacity of 15.62 million sheets per annum.
