CSIL publishes the latest edition of “The Furniture Industry in Vietnam”

ITALY – CSIL recently published the ninth edition of its report “The Furniture Industry in Vietnam”.

850VIETNAM This reports is part of CSIL’s Country Furniture Outlook Series that currently covers 100 markets. This study offers an updated and detailed overview of the furniture sector in Vietnam and its perspectives, through tables, graphs, illustrated maps and more information processed from direct interviews with the main furniture companies and experts in the sector.

Vietnam is one of the most dynamic countries in terms of growth in furniture production and in exports over the last decade. According to CSIL, it is now the 7th largest furniture producer worldwide (whereas it was 15th in 2009) and second-largest exporter in Asia and Pacific and the fifth worldwide.

Vietnam is emerging as a leading manufacturing hub across South Asian countries.

This report also analyses the international trade of furniture from and to Vietnam: countries of destination/origin, furniture trade by segment (upholstered furniture, non-upholstered seats, bedroom furniture, kitchen furniture, office furniture, parts of furniture, parts of seats) and furniture trade by country/area.
